JOHN TURBEN BIO
John Turben is a well-respected hypnotherapist who has helped thousands of clients overcome addiction and emotional issues and learn to live life to the fullest. He is a graduate of University Of Wisconsin Lacrosse lives in Lacrosse, Wisconsin, and helped found Iowa behavioral center Clinic in Des Moines, Iowa.
He has given of his time and expertise to The Salvation Army, Catholic Charities, Disabled American Veterans, Alcoholics Anonymous, The Copeland Center for Wellness and Recovery, WRAP (The Wellness Recovery Action Plan) and the Coulee Counsel on Addictions. He also served Common Bond as a Peer Support Specialist.
Prior to becoming a therapist, Mr. Turben was well known as an entertainer, performing as a hypnotist in venues throughout the Midwestern United States. He left the entertainment business when he discovered hypnotism’s power to heal.
John is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and speaks from experience, having overcome homelessness and drug addiction. He is a member of st Joseph cathedral Church, and lives by the belief that “the best way to help yourself is to help others.”
